Kent-based financial advice business H&F Financial has failed, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) confirmed.
H&F is the 10th advice firm to be declared in default since the beginning of 2023. One firm entered compulsory liquidation on 18 January 2023.
According to Companies House filings, H&F entered voluntary liquidation in July 2022, and the FCA Register shows it has not been authorised since 30 January 2023.
The FSCS told International Adviser it has so far received three claims against the company, all related to pension transfers but not involving the British Steel Pension Scheme.
