Mattioli Woods
The UK-based wealth management firm has made some changes to its board of directors.
Nathan Imlach is stepping down as chief financial officer after a 15-year tenure in the role, effective from 19 October 2020. He will keep working at the company as chief strategic adviser to the group.
Imlach will be replaced by Ravi Tara, currently group finance director, who joined the firm a year ago.
Additionally, Iain McKenzie and Michael Wright have been named group operating officer and managing director, respectively.
McKenzie joined Mattioli Woods in August 2018 as an executive risk consultant, while Wright has been at the firm since 2004, shortly after graduating from university.
Kingswood
The international wealth and investment management business has made three hires within its business development team.
Paul Bolt, Michael Fajardo and Clare Houghton have all become business development managers to support the firm’s expansion.
Bolt was previously a professional connection director at Quilter Cheviot.
Fajardo joins from 7IM where he served as a private client business development manager for six years.
Lastly, Houghton worked as an investment manager at financial services group Ingenious before moving to Kingswood.
Generali Investment Partners
Tim Rainsford will leave his position as group head of sales and distribution at Gam to join Generali Investment Partners in September.
He will become global head of sales responsible for leading the Italian asset manager’s commercial development in key markets and expansion into others.
Blacrock’s Jeremy Roberts will succeed Rainsford at Gam.
Dimensional Fund Advisors
Joel Kim has been promoted to chief executive of the investment firm’s Asia ex Japan businesses in Hong Kong and Singapore.
He joined Dimensional in 2016 in Singapore as a senior portfolio manager. Most recently, he served as head of fixed income, international, at the firm’s London office.
Before that, he worked at Blackrock in the Lion City, where he was responsible for portfolio management of all active and index fixed income strategies in the region.
He also spent nearly 14 years with ING Investment Management, where he held various fixed income portfolio management positions in Europe and Asia, including serving as head of Asian debt.
Santander International
Santander International in Jersey has hired Wayne Stanley as head of private and retail banking.
He succeeds James Geldart who has been promoted to managing director for Santander International’s Isle of Man branch.
Stanley was previously a director at Standard Chartered Bank in the Channel Island.
Rathbone Greenbank Investments
The ESG portfolio creation business, part of Rathbone Investment Management, has expanded its ethical, sustainable and impact investment team.
Sophie Lawrence has become a senior researcher responsible for assessing the social and environmental performance of investments. She was previously a senior associate at KKS Advisors.
David Nicholsby joins as an investment manager focusing on private clients, trusts and charities. He used to work as an analyst at Courtiers Asset Management.
Oculus Wealth Management
Former UBS Wealth Management executive director Kevin Woodward has joined Oculus Wealth Management as a director.
He spent over 15 years at UBS, and prior to that he was a senior wealth manager at Bank of Scotland Investment Service and a senior adviser at Equitable Life.
Gresham House
Alternative asset manager Gresham House has recruited Rebecca Craddock-Taylor as a director of sustainable investment.
This is part of the firm’s five-year plan to become a leader in the ESG space.
Craddock-Taylor joins from Univest where she worked as an ESG strategist.
Brunel Wealth
Bristol-based Brunel Wealth has named Ria Bedford as financial planning director.
Before joining she worked as director of her own firm North Star Wealth Management
Mirabaud Asset Management
Pauline Bush has been appointed head of marketing at the active investment arm of the Mirabaud Group, based in London.
She held a similar position for the Emea region at Neuberger Berman.
Cerno Capital
The independent investment management firm has hired Richard Chenevix-Trench to join its investment advisory committee.
He was previously chief investment officer and partner of hedge fund Sloane Robinson.
