Chief executive of Finance IoM claims jurisdiction is just not a hub for tax incentives

It’s been several months since the implementation of The Insurance (Conduct of Business) (Long Term Business) Code 2018 in the Isle of Man, which changed the landscape for the life insurance sector on the island.

International Adviser spoke with Michael Crowe, chief executive of Finance Isle of Man, the promotional body for the financial services sector in the jurisdiction, about what it has to offer to wealth and life companies.

While it keeps up with the global evolution of the industry, both in terms of services and regulation, Crowe highlighted that the Crown Dependency is not just a destination for tax incentives, and offers a robust economic, political and regulatory environment.
