Vestra Wealth announces triple hire

Tom Wicks has joined the firm after working as an executive director at Swiss private banking group Julius Baer where he managed onshore and offshore multi-asset portfolios, specialising in global equities.

Former director at UBS, William Boyd-Carpenter, and former Julius Baer portfolio manager, Geraldine Napier, have also taken on wealth management roles at Vestra Wealth.

The three new hires all have experience managing global multi-asset portfolios.

“As many of the global banks are restructuring their wealth management proposition in light of changes brought about by RDR to their revenue models, our core focus on looking after the client as a long term relationship is resonating with both advisers and clients,” said Vestra Wealth’s founding partner, David Scott.

“We believe that these [new recruits] will be a great addition to helping us continuously improve the service that we offer to our clients.”

Vestra Wealth has been trading since 2008 and has £4.6bn in assets under management.
