Vam Funds has promoted Mark Taylor to Middle East sales director

|

Taylor, who has held a number of sales roles in Vam since joining from Friends Provident International in 1999, will work across various distribution channels, including IFAs, institutions, fund platforms and brokerages.

Nigel Watson, global sales director for Vam, who himself joined last September from Nexus, a Middle East-based advisory network, said: “The Middle East is a key strategic growth region for us. It is a dynamic and well regulated market that will provide many distribution opportunities. Mark’s appointment is intrinsic to VAM’s global development. The company strives to offer global clients access to world class fund managers and products.”

Vam provides investors to access to boutique, often institutional managers, through its Luxembourg fund platform. Its products span a range of asset classes and there are currently four underlying managers; Driehaus Capital Management, Enhanced Investment Products, Fleming Fund Advisers and Valu-Trac Investment Management.
