US in the news: Wealth Enhancement Group makes 7th deal of 2022

Wealth Enhancement Group

The independent wealth management firm has bought Titus Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum.

Titus Wealth has eight advisers and five support staff, and is led by president and founder Eric Aanes.

This is Wealth Enhancement Group’s seventh acquisition of 2022.

Sanctuary Wealth

The advice network has received a $175m (£148m, €175m) investment from Kennedy Lewis Investment Management.

The funds will be used to fuel Sanctuary Wealth’s M&A strategy and the organic growth of its partner firms, including advancing key priorities that will enhance the company’s technology solutions and talent management initiatives.

Citizens Financial Group

The firm has agreed to purchase select assets and liabilities of New Hampshire-based advice company Paladin Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022, subject to customary closing terms and conditions.

Upon closing, Paladin Advisors will become part of Clarfeld | Citizens Private Wealth.

Ty J Young Wealth Management

The Atlanta financial advice firm has acquired Annuity Pros for an undisclosed sum.

It is the company’s 22nd acquisition in the past four years as part of its rapid nationwide expansion.

Founded by financial industry veteran Warren Thompson in 2008, Annuity Pros specialises in providing retirement planning and fixed annuities to its clients across Florida.

Pathstone

The family office has agreed to buy Virginia-based Dyson Capital Advisors.

Dyson serves select clients with investment advice, family office services, and administrative services.

Dyson Capital Advisors was founded in 2007 by Nicholas Perrins and Scott Darling who previously ran a single-family office.

They were joined by Sarb Shah as a partner in 2013. Dyson serves approximately 80 clients.

People moves

SageView Advisory Group

Jorge Bernal as chief operating officer of the advice group.

Bernal was previously a managing director and co-head of advisory services for Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management.

Raymond James

The wealth firm has hired financial adviser Rhonda McNiel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

McNiel arrives at Raymond James from Oppenheimer & Co.

As part of the transition, she joins the firm’s South Florida Complex and will serve clients as Rhonda L McNiel of Raymond James.
