Wealth Enhancement Group

The wealth management firm has bought Washington Wealth Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

It is led by founder and managing partner Maura Schauss and managing partner Todd Youngdahl.

Washington Wealth Advisors was founded in 2011 and offers financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, education planning and tax saving strategies.

OneDigital Investment Advisors

The registered investment adviser (RIA) firm has bought the Florida Pension Group (FPG) to its wealth management practice.

The acquisition of the Florida-based retirement plan consulting and wealth management firm marks OneDigital’s seventh retirement and wealth partnership announcement in the past year and OneDigital’s 17th office in the Florida market.

Founded in 1998 by President Troy Tummond, FPG offers retirement plans, executive benefit plans, financial planning, retirement income planning, and portfolio and asset management services.

FPG advisers Troy Tummond, Steve Carter, John Hudson, John Pomroy and Landon Strickland will remain with firm.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TC Wealth Partners

The wealth firm has merged with financial planning business EFG Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

The merger brings TC Wealth Partners’ assets to more than $2bn (£1.65bn, €1.86bn).

Founded in 2001, EFG Advisors is led by Thomas Olexa.

Hightower acquired TC Wealth Partners in January 2022. At the time, TC Wealth Partners wanted to grow its footprint across the greater midwest and grow nationally. This is the first acquisition for TC Wealth Partners, which, like EFG Advisors, is based in suburban Chicago.

People moves

Fiduciary Trust International

The Franklin Templeton subsidiary names Craig Richards as chief administrative officer.

He most recently served as director of tax services, and maintains oversight of the firm’s tax services team, which he has led since 2006.

Golden State Equity Partners

The RIA firm has hired the Minnesota-based team Arise Wealth Management.

The Arise team is led by Gina Rypkema, a private wealth adviser, and is accompanied by her fellow advisor teammates, Donna Gunderson, Shelley Lof and Nancy McCoyne as well as her supporting staff.

They join from Ameriprise Financial.

Alex Brown

The Raymond James subsidiary has hired financial adviser Daniel Laiter in Miami, Florida.

Laiter joins from Merrill Lynch.

Northern Trust Wealth Management

Nikè Anani has been named director of next gen advisory at the firm.

She is the founder and former chief executive of a family office in Lagos, Nigeria, and held leadership roles at Deloitte in London.

Angeles Wealth Management

The wealth management firm has promoted Chloe Wohlforth to partner.

Based in New York, Wohlforth leads the firm’s financial planning programme and carries out client engagement responsibilities across the country.

Before joining Angeles Wealth, she was a senior adviser at Bridgewater Advisors.
