IQ-EQ

The financial services provider has hired Sean Farrell as a managing director based in its New York City office.

During his 20 years in regulatory compliance, Farrell has served as a regulatory consultant, a chief compliance officer and a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) examiner.

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, he founded Sentinel Regulatory Compliance.

Rockefeller Capital Management

Cheryl Young and her seven-member team Young & Associates have joined the firm’s global family office arm.

The team joins from Morgan Stanley and includes:

  • Vice presidents and client relationship directors Boaz Chan, Jennifer Seacrist, Wey Lim, and Nicholas Peterson;
  • Vice president and business practice manager Sarah Mijts;
  • Financial planning analyst Jenny Young; and
  • Senior client associate Cassidy Liu.

Wilmington Trust

The financial services provider has named Terisa Heine as a senior wealth fiduciary adviser in its North Palm Beach, Florida office.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Heine served as a senior fiduciary adviser at Regions Private Wealth Management and Wells Fargo Private Bank.

Raymond James

The wealth firm has hired financial adviser Michael Anania in Ohio.

Anania joins Raymond James from Merrill Lynch. He will lead The Anania Group of Raymond James and is joined by client relationship associates Corrie Strausbaugh and Jennifer Caron.

Also, financial adviser Rob Hrnicek and the Parkway Wealth Management Group have joined the firm in Texas.

Previously, Hrnicek was with Wells Fargo.

Fulcrum Asset Management

Chris DeMeo has joined as head of solutions, North America.

Previously, DeMeo was at Abrdn, where he was head of Americas within its client solutions group.

M&A

Merit Financial Advisors

The Georgia-based financial advice firm has acquired Union Financial Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

The firm, which has offices in Tulsa, Norman, and Perry, Oklahoma, will establish Merit’s presence in the region.

Union specialises in providing financial planning services for small business owners, retirees, medical professionals and business executives.

It is led by Steven Henderson, Douglas Morris and Stephen Regouby. They will all take on new roles at Merit.

Henderson and Morris will serve as co-regional directors and Regouby will assume the role of managing partner.
