He will be responsible for leading the bank’s wealth management business.
Most recently, Boardman served as executive vice president and head of US wealth management for HSBC.
Fiduciary Trust Company International
The global wealth manager has named Gene Todd as executive vice president for business development.
Based in San Mateo, California; Todd will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of client development across the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
He previously served as director of sales at Key Private Bank in Cleveland.
Miracle Mile Advisors
The Californian investment advisory firm has hired adviser Dimitry Farberov to its team.
Prior to joining Miracle Mile Advisors, Farberov served as an investment advisor at IDB Capital.
Broadridge Financial Solutions
The global fintech firm has appointed Michael Alexander as president of wealth management.
Prior to joining Broadridge, Alexander was senior vice president of operations at Charles Schwab.
Raymond James & Associates
The broker dealer firm has hired financial advisers Jule Eldridge, Jason Newton and Robb Sasser.
The trio come to Raymond James from Wells Fargo Advisors.
They will be joined by financial planning consultant Tyler Morris, senior registered client service associate Ashley Alexander and practice marketing associate Margie Wood.
The team operates as Crescent Advisory Partners of Raymond James.
M&A
Crestbridge
The family office services provider has set up a joint venture with Wyoming-based Willow Street.
It will be called Crestbridge Fiduciary.
The partnership will enable families with US-based interests to access a global platform for protecting and structuring their wealth and assets.
The financial terms of the venture were not disclosed.
Perigon Wealth Management
The registered investment adviser (RIA) firm has merged with Florida-based RLP Wealth Advisors to create a firm with approximately $1.8bn (£1.36bn, €1.62bn) in assets under management.
The firm, which will operate under the name Perigon Wealth Management, will maintain offices in California, Florida, Montana, New York, New Jersey and Hawaii.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bluespring Wealth Partners
The wealth firm has announced its first deal of 2020.
The company has partnered with Florida-based Retirement Wealth Specialists.
Established in 1998, Retirement Wealth Specialists is led by president and co-founder Mitchell Walk.
It has locations in St Augustine, Longwood, and Sarasota.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mercer Global Advisors
The RIA firm has bought Colombus-based First Ohio Planning.
First Ohio serves approximately 280 households with assets under management of approximately $350m.
It is owned by James Ryan, who will be joining Mercer along with his team of five staff.
The firm will be merging with Mercer Advisors’ existing office in Columbus.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
