UK investment platform eyes London IPO

Reports claim firm could be valued at as much as £2bn

Online retail platform Interactive Investor is in talks with bankers to float on the London Stock Exchange.

According to Sky News, the company has invited several investment banks to pitch for a role on an initial public offering (IPO) which is believed to go ahead in 2022.

The platform is likely to be valued between £1.5bn and £2bn ($2.7bn, €2.3bn).

But a final decision on the flotation is yet to be made as it will depend on market conditions.

Interactive Investor has more than 400,000 customers and around £55bn of assets under administration.

International Adviser contacted the platform but the firm declined to comment.
