It ‘is fast becoming central to our proposition for our private client audience’

London-based DFM Waverton has launched a wealth management unit as part of its plans to offer integrated financial planning and investment management services.

This comes after the investment manager agreed to buy Scottish IFA firm Cornerstone Asset Management in April 2021.

Branded Waverton Wealth, the business will continue to look after the existing Cornerstone clients while also expanding its services to include bespoke investment management via Waverton’s offices in London.

Similarly, Waverton clients will have access to financial planning from Waverton Wealth with the integrated solution – which it says will be a seamless experience.

It will offer estate and tax planning, retirement planning, later life planning and trust planning services.

Nick Tucker, Waverton chief executive, said: ‘This is a significant and exciting step for us, and we are thrilled to introduce Waverton Wealth.

“Integrated wealth management is fast becoming central to our proposition for our private client audience, and we are now able to deliver a service supporting clients that includes business planning for entrepreneurs through to family wealth planning.”
