Chris Mills, who has previously worked at Grant Thornton, has been appointed to lead the company’s personal tax team.
UHY Hacker Young said Mills has “extensive experience” of advising clients both in the UK and internationally on a variety of tax issues. He is the third partner to join the firm’s London tax team since the summer, following the appointment of corporate taxation specialist Gary
Shortman and Bob Savic, who is leading UHY Hacker Young’s new Russian and Eastern European desk.
Ladislav Hornan, Managing Partner of UHY Hacker Young in London, said: “London is the base for many wealthy and highly mobile foreign and UK individuals who face a range of challenging tax issues.
“As we continue to build on the work we undertake for high net worth clients, Chris’s extensive knowledge of private client issues, both in the UK and internationally will boost the team further still in this growing and complex area of tax.”
