UBS AM launches UK-based strategic bond fund

UBS Asset Management has launched the UBS Global Strategic Bond Fund.

The fund is targeted towards professional investors in the wholesale market, but is also available to retail investors, according to the firm.

Fixed income solution

It aims to provide an offering for clients seeking an all-in-one fixed income solution with returns from multiple sources. The fund has a minimum investment of £1000 ($1290) (€1130).

Domiciled in the UK, the new fund is based on the UBS (Lux) Global Dynamic Bond Fund, which has over $200m in assets under management.

Kevin Zhao, head of global sovereign and currency, fixed income will lead the fund.

Andy Larkin, head of wholesale UK, Nordics and Benelux at UBS Asset Management said: “The launch of the UBS Global Strategic Bond Fund brings UBS Asset Management’s comprehensive fixed income capabilities into a convenient product that we believe will be attractive to clients looking for a flexible solution for their fixed income exposure.”
