Isle of Man to investigate collapse of Nicaraguan bamboo fund
The Isle of Man’s High Court of Justice has appointed an inspector to look into the collapse of the $61m (£48m, €57m) Eco Resources Fund, after it went bust last November.

The high court of justice of the Isle of Man has granted a wind-up application for three unregulated funds, known collectively as the New Earth Group of Funds.

Unregulated New Earth funds facing liquidation
Joint liquidators have been appointed to the New Earth Group of Funds following an application by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (IOMFSA). The application was made with the knowledge and consent of the funds’ directors.
