Launched today, the asset management company said its Multi-Factor Global Equity Fund aims to “help investors achieve greater diversification and increased risk-adjusted returns over the long term”.
The new Luxembourg-domiciled fund centres on low valuation, low volatility and high quality and responds to growing interest in smart beta, with particular focus on equities.
Advanced beta portfolio strategist at SSGA, Ana Harris, said: “After the first generation of single factor funds, we are seeing an increasing need from investors for an approach that combines different factors in a transparent way.
“Investors want exposure to a number of factors through one cost-effective solution.”
SSGA offers an entry level share class with a minimum and subsequent investment amount of $50, with a management fee of 90 basis points (0.9%)
The new fund is the fifth advanced beta UCITS fund on SSGA’s Luxembourg platform.
