Morgan will open the company’s office in Mauritius next year where he will become managing director of Carrick Investment Services.

He previously ran the international pensions division within Holborn Management Services and has experience working with independent financial advice firms in the UK.

Carrick Wealth specialises in retirement planning, fiduciary and estate planning, offshore and local investments, as well as qualifying recognised overseas pension schemes (QROPS).

It has 51 advisers based across its offices, which include Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Harare in Zimbabwe, and Mauritius where it already holds three global licences.

Until Carrick’s operations in Mauritus are launched, Morgan will be tasked with focusing on the Garden Route region in South Africa where he already has a client base.
