Skandia said MacDonald handed in his notice earlier this month and that the two parties are working together to find a suitable departure date which is likely to be within the next few months.
A company spokesperson said Skandia has begun the recruitment process already and is looking both internally and externally for a replacement for MacDonald. The spokesperson added that MacDonald’s departure is not part of any wider restructure and that Singapore "remains a key and successful region for the company".
