St James’s Place’s (SJP) wealth management CEO James Rainbow (pictured) has been handed share options worth £2.1m following his hire from Schroders.
Overall, he has been awarded options of 202,907 ordinary shares at a price of £10.16 per share.

Rainbow will receive the shares over a period of three years, subject to his continued employment at SJP.
In a stock exchange announcement, SJP said the share award came owing to the buy-out of awards that Rainbow forfeited on leaving Schroders.
He took up his new role at SJP last month after exiting Schroders in November last year. Rainbow spent 18 years at Schroders, most recently as head of UK.
