The Protection Distributors Group (PDG) has expanded its membership to include St James’s Place and Cheshire-based insurer Essential Insurance.
Set up in 2016, it consists of distributor firms and works to lobby insurers for better outcomes for consumers, via “a formal and structured distribution voice for the protection industry”, according to its website.
The 10 founding members of the group are: Assured Futures, Cura, Drewberry, Futureproof, Highclere, LifeSearch, Lightblue, London & Country, Cavendish Ware and Roxburgh.
