Elgin-based Watson & Campbell has joined forces with Lossiemouth-based Campbell & McConnachie as part of an IFA merger deal.
This follows the retirement of Watson & Campbell’s director Willie Watson after more than 40 years in the business.
Watson & Campbell formed in 2000 after Watson teamed up with Scott Campbell to create the Moray-based firm.
After the deal, Watson & Campbell closed its Elgin office and Campbell joined Campbell & McConnachie, serving clients both virtually and face-to-face.
Ross Davidson, Campbell & McConnachie director, said: “We’ve known Willie and Scott for many years.
“Watson & Campbell are well-respected in the profession and share similar values to ourselves. With Willie retiring, it felt like a natural fit for Scott to join us.”
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
