“We are extremely pleased that a company of the pedigree of Schroders has seen the merits of Fecif membership,” said secretary general Paul Stanfield.
“Over the last 12 months or so we have been extending the advantages and benefits for all of our members, not least the corporate entities. The range and breadth of experience and expertise at Fecif, with regards to the advisory sector in Europe, is probably unparalleled. Our members understand and significantly appreciate the true value of this.”
European understanding
“We are delighted to announce our involvement with Fecif, one of the only European bodies representing financial advisers and intermediaries in Europe,” said Courtney Waterman, head of EMEA marketing at Schroders.
“Being part of this organisation will help Schroders deepen its understanding of the issues that European financial advisers and intermediaries face and further expand our opportunities in the European market.
“We look forward to working with Fecif to help support the continual development of advisers and intermediaries within Europe.”
Regulatory database and library
Fecif’s knowledge and information of European regulatory matters means that the federation’s regular updates to members and its in-house expertise are very valuable for members, according to Stanfield.
“We are also about to launch a regulatory database and library, a unique facility only available to our members. This is another exciting development, as we continue to expand the membership benefits,” he explained.
