Saxo Bank has launched an investment platform for the UK market called SaxoInvestor.
The Denmark-founded bank said the platform is designed to serve the growing number of buy-and-hold and active investors in the UK.
SaxoInvestor is built on the same technology stack as the company’s other platforms, SaxoTraderGO and SaxoTraderPRO.
There are over 70,000 investments available across stocks, ETFs, bonds and funds.
It is offering zero commission trades on 100 US stocks between 1 October and 31 December as an election season promotion. Outside of this, trading fees start at $1 for US stocks and ETFs, £3 for UK stocks, 0.05% for government bonds and zero for funds. Foreign exchange fees are 0.25%.

Saxo Bank said it has seen rapid growth in its investor base over the past 12 months, with a 38% increase in active investors and a 20% rise in female investors. Younger investors are also on the rise, with a 46% increase among those aged 21-30 and a 24% increase in the 31-40 age group.
