Vaysleyb reports to Guy Huntrods, who has joined the firm to lead its onshore and offshore advisory units.

As International Adviser reported, RBC Wealth Management launched a Jersey-based offshore investment advisory capability, led by Hardisty, in February. The business provides “customised investment advice, execution and safe-custody of assets” for the firm’s offshore and trust clients.

Vaysleyb joins the firm from UBS in London, where he was a portfolio specialist, focusing on Eastern Europe, Greece, Israel and South Asia. Prior to this, he was an investment advisory specialist at UBS Financial Services, responsible for the central US and New York regions.

Huntrods, who takes on the roles of director and advisory desk head in London, previously served as deputy head of the corporate sales department at Bank of Ireland Global Markets. He reports to Lynne Jones, RBC Wealth Management’s head of advisory and product specialists for the British Isles.

According to a spokesperson, the Jersey offshore advisory team currently has three members, but is “expected to grow, along with [the firm’s] broader investments offering.”

The firm also today announced the appointment of Frédérique Carrier as a director and European equities specialist within its London-based portfolio strategy team. She joins from Williams de Broë/Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Investment Management, where she was an investment director.

“These appointments will enable us to further enhance the advisory and portfolio strategy services we offer to clients and are testament to our commitment to supporting the growth of our investments platform in the British Isles,” said Tracy Maeter, head of investments for the British Isles.
