The Quilter Academy, the firm’s adviser training arm, has partnered with FutureProof Pro to help sport professionals enter the industry.
The career support service specialises in helping these people find suitable second careers when their playing days are over. It offers support such as CV reviews, interview advice and career research.
Quilter’s training arm has also partnered with Life After Professional Sports (LAPS). LAPS offer a careers platform, advice, networking and job opportunities for future, current and former sport professionals.
Through these partnerships Quilter hopes to further attract sport professionals and individuals from other specialist backgrounds to join the advice industry.

There are already many examples of people taking this route, such as former England rugby international Leanne Infante, who become an adviser through the Quilter Academy.
