The company, which has its headquarters in London, said its new fund marketing and information office will be opened under the banner of a new company name – Prestige Consultancy – which will be an affiliate of Prestige Asset Distribution.

Andrew Wilson has been appointed general manager of the new company and office, and regional sales manager for Prestige Asset Distribution. Wilson has been covering the Middle East region since 2009, previously working as business development manager at Aviva International in Dubai.

He has also worked at Clerical Medical and Scottish Equitable in the UK.

Meanwhile, Brian Clothier has been appointed director of Prestige Consultancy and, another entity, Prestige International Marketing Services. In addition, Clothier is international sales director of Prestige Asset Distribution.

Assisting Wilson and Clothier will be Anusyia Nathan. Nathan is a Dubai resident and has worked in the UAE and Malaysia for more than 10 years in the financial services sector. Before joining Prestige, she worked as a relationship manager with Aviva in the Middle East.

In August Prestige announced it had taken a “significant” equity stake in short term lending specialist Methexis Capital. Shortly afterwards, in September, the duo announced the launch of the Commercial Finance Opportunities Fund, a Luxembourg domiciled Sicav-Sif investing in a portfolio of short-term commercial and industrial account receivables.
