Platform unveils AI tool for UK and international operations

It will examine certain client behaviour patterns that indicate a need for financial advice

Praemium has launched its artificial intelligence feature examining clients’ recent activity to predict whether they are on the verge of ending their relationship with their financial adviser.

Insights will be available on the firm’s UK and international platforms.

Praemium’s innovation uses data science and technology to provide analysis and to examine certain client behaviour patterns that may indicate a need for financial advice or guidance.

Michael Ohanessian, Praemium chief executive, said: “The response to Insights has been very strong in Australia since its launch last year, and we are confident that it will have the same positive impact for our adviser clients in the UK and internationally.

“This development is part of our overall strategy to provide innovative ways for advisers to engage more meaningfully and optimally with their clients.”

Next level

This feature was announced recently during an interview with International Adviser, where Ohannessian said it will be beneficial for advisers to take their relationship with their clients to the next level.

“If an adviser is aware that someone is feeling a bit anxious, based on their activity, I think it gives them a reason to pick up the phone,” he said to IA in January.

“It’s not waiting for the annual review, it is a real time reason for the adviser to call and say how are things going, which I think is really powerful.”
