The investment management business of US-based Prudential Financial has expanded its European presence and entered the Swiss market.

The move comes in tandem with the firm naming Pascal Weber head of Swiss accounts. He will be based in Zurich and be responsible for growing the relationships with local, regional and global banks, as well as financial intermediaries.

Weber joins from AllianceBerstein where he was the director of financial institutions.
