Tilney
Chief investment officer Chris Godding will leave the firm at the end of November 2020.
The move is part of a senior management restructure which follows the completion of the merger between Tilney and Smith & Williamson in September.
As a result, John Erskrine, Smith & Williamson’s head of investment management, will become chief investment management director for the group.
Godding joined Tilney in 2017.
Investec Wealth & Investment
Leigh Yeaman has been promoted to divisional director and head of the Belfast office.
She joined the firm as an investment director in 2015.
Yeaman replaces Samuel Brown, who retired in September after 31 years with the company and 45 years in the investment industry.
Interactive Investor
The investment platform has hired Becky O’Connor as head of pensions and savings.
She joins from mutual insurer Royal London where she worked as a personal finance specialist.
In the newly created role, O’Connor will lead the firm’s educational programme about pensions and savings as well as campaigns on policy issues.
Premier Miton Investors
The investment firm has expanded its wealth management distribution team with three hires.
Joe O’Donnell, Tom Hoyer Millar and Bradley Worsfold have all taken on the roles of business development managers.
They join from Legg Mason Asset Management where they served as head of wealth management and investment trusts, business development manager for the south west, and business development manager for the south east, respectively.
O’Donnell will be responsible for client relationships and business development across northern England and Scotland, whereas Hoyer Millar will look after the Midlands and south west and Worsfold will be responsible for East Anglia and London.
Key Group
Caroline Righton has been promoted to director of commercial finance, a newly created role.
She was previously head of commercial finance at More2life, part of the Key Group.
Riscura
Global advisory and financial analytics firm Riscura named Robert Ross as senior adviser.
He is a former director at Russell Investments.
SYZ Capital
SYZ Capital, which provides institutional solutions to private clients, has recruited Gian Kull has head of special situations and uncorrelated strategies.
He will focus on managing portfolios as well as leading the sourcing and execution of some of the company’s private market investments.
Kull joins from Multiplicity Partners, a special situations adviser in Europe.
