RWC Partners

Following its acquisition of Pensato Capital, a seven-strong investment team, that includes company founder Graham Clapp, will join RWC Partners. Set up in 2008, Pensato managed $280m (£216.3m, €235.3m) on behalf of clients across long only and long/short European equity strategies.

Also joining are co-portfolio managers Edward Rumble and Russell Champion who worked alongside Clapp during his 22 years at Fidelity.

Clapp will be lead portfolio managers of the three funds the Pensato team will continue to manage at RWC.

They include: the Europa fund, a long/short Cayman-domiciled fundamentally driven European equity fund; the Europa Absolute Return Fund, a long/short Ucits vehicle; and the European Equity fund, a long-only Cayman-domiciled fund.

Sanlam Four

The boutique investment manager of the Sanlam Group, Sanlam Four, has boosted its distribution capability with the addition of Alexandra Dacres-Hogg as sales manager to enhance the group’s coverage of the UK wholesale market.

Dacres-Hogg was previously a client relationship manager at M&G – working with discretionary investors across the UK. She started her career in the investment industry at Rathbone Unit Trust Management.

Lombard Odier Private Bank

Oliver Hart has joined Lombard Odier Private Bank from Coutts Private Office, while Dylan Samuel moved over earlier in the year from JP Morgan Private Bank, as the bank expands its UK presence under chief executive Duncan MacIntyre.

Hart has more than 18 years’ experience in investment management and private banking in the UK, including stints at Lloyds Bank Private Banking, Barclays Wealth and James Capel (now HSBC Global Asset Management).

Samuel previously spent 13 years in the London and Geneva offices of JP Morgan, and in his last role he headed a team focused on UK financial professionals and family offices.

Professional services provider Equiom has appointed Enhance Group co-founder Richard Sayers as its managing director for Singapore. He replaces Angelo Venardos, who has been named the firm’s chairman for Singapore.

Equiom provides high-net-worth investors and corporations with fiduciary services. Private client services include family office services, real estate, trusts and foundations, according to the firm’s website. Asia offices are in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.

Based in Singapore, Sayers will be responsible for the overall performance of Equiom in the country and ensure all activity is in line with the group’s strategy.

Fulcrum Asset Management

Fulcrum Asset Management has confirmed the appointment of Marc Semaan as a multi-asset strategist. He brings with him around 10 years of experience and joins from Aviva Investors’ Aims Team, where he held a similar role.
