The Swiss private bank has hired Andre’ Del Piero as market head for domestic Switzerland.
He joins Quintet Switzerland from BNP Paribas Wealth Management, where he served as head of ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) and single-family offices in the German-speaking region of the country.
Quilter Cheviot
The Quilter subsidiary named Simon Funge as head of office in Manchester.
He was the managing director of regional advice business Worldwide Financial Planning.
Funge will take over from David Rothburn, who will remain with the business to focus on his client base full-time.
Raymond James
Derek Gawne has joined Raymond James’ Liverpool office as an investment manager.
He was previously branch manager at Redmayne Bentley in Liverpool since 2016, but the firm shut down the office in August 2020.

The financial services provider named James Whitelaw as managing director and partner of its fund distribution unit.
He was previously vice president and sales executive at Franklin Templeton Investments.
Aiva serves as a representative of Jupiter Asset Management and Merian Global Investors in the LatAm retail market, as well as Allianz Global Investors for Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.

The Australian financial advisory firm has announced a management shake-up with two senior promotions.
Gerard Kerr, current head of OnePath propositions and group life, will become general manager for life insurance.
Additionally, Clearview’s general manager of people and operations Deborah Lowe will take on the role of general manager for the group’s wealth management arm.

The global emerging markets equities specialist has made two hires within its China team.
Min Chen will become a portfolio manager, while Lilian Tai taken on the role of analyst. They both join from Dymon Asia.
Finance Isle of Man
The representative body for the financial services industry in the Isle of Man has named Sue Preskey as non-executive chair.
She succeeds Aidan Doherty, who is going to step down after a two-year tenure.
Preskey is managing director of corporate services provider The Law Trust.
