Quintet
The Swiss private bank is expanding its wealth management operations in Asia.
Jing Zhang Brogle will become market head, Asia international at Quintet Switzerland.
She will help the firm build a team of advisers covering the Asian market from Switzerland and was most recently global market manager for Asia at Edmund de Rothschild in Hong Kong.
Brown Shipley
The Quintet subsidiary has hired Raphael Drescher has head of UK family investment office based in London.
He will work closely with ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients – those whose wealth exceeds £100m ($130m, €110m) – to provide banking services, as well as engaging with the wealth advisory services.
Drescher joins from Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, where he focused on providing institutional products to family offices and UHNW clients across Emea.
Mercer
Achim Lüder has been promoted to chief people officer at the retirement and investment solutions provider.
He will be based in Frankfurt and be responsible for building a diverse workforce and inclusive environment within the company and across the 44 countries it operates.
Most recently, Lüder was chief executive of Mercer Germany following several senior and other c-suite positions at the firm.
Aberdeen Standard Investments
Justin Simler has become ASI’s head of multi-asset product strategy.
He will be based in London to focus on driving the firm’s innovation within its multi-asset business.
Simler joins from Investec where he led the multi-asset product strategy and prior to that, he spent a decade at Schroders as head of product manager for its multi-asset and quantitative equities.
T Rowe Price
The UK-based investment management company has recruited Raymone Jackson as head of diversity and inclusion.
He will join the firm in late October 2020 to oversee current diversity and inclusion programmes, as well as creating strategies to help the business improve its attraction, retention and development of staff.
Jackson will join from Morgan Stanley, where he served as national diversity officer for the wealth management businesses.
Alliance Bernstein
The investment management firm has expanded its responsible investment capabilities with a double hire.
Jodie Tapscott will take on the role of director of strategy for responsible investing, while Amelia Sexton becomes an ESG product specialist; they will be based in London.
Tapscott joins from Sustainalytics, where she worked as director for client relations and head of Asia excluding-Japan.
Sexton was most recently head of ethical, sustainable and thematic investment at Holden & Partners.
