The asset management firm has hired Åsa Norrie as chief executive and head of distribution in Europe.
She will be based in London and be responsible for the European business and client strategy.
Norrie previously spent 15 years at Aberdeen Standard Investments where, most recently, she served as head of global strategic alliances.
Crossinvest
Rohit Bhuta is going to step down as chief executive of Singapore-based independent wealth management firm Crossinvest.
After five years at the helm of the company, he is going to leave the position as the company “enters its next phase of growth, under new ownership”, he said in a Linkedin post.
Bhuta added he will spend some “quality time” with his family “before embarking on my next journey”.
Aviva
The insurance giant has promoted Chetan Singh to managing director of its annuities and equity release business, effective from 1 May 2021.
He is currently chief strategy and M&A officer at the firm.
BNY Mellon IM
Kristina Najjar-Wahlgren has become BNY Mellon IM’s head of Nordic distribution.
She is based in Stockholm and will lead the firm’s distribution strategy across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland.
Her focus will be on both institutional and intermediary clients in the region.
Najjar-Wahlgren joined from Pimco, where she held a similar role.
Simplyhealth
The healthcare provider has named Sneh Khemka as chief executive, effective from 1 April 2021.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Before joining, he was vice president for population health and vHealth at Aetna International for over seven years.
Khemka succeeds Romana Abdin, who last year decided to step down from the top job after eight years at the helm.

The financial advisory network has recruited Warren Vickers as managing director of its compliance services business.
He was previously at regulatory technology services business TCC, where he served as commercial director.
Invesco
The investment firm has hired Devvya Sharma as Emea diversity and inclusion manager.
She was previously at the CFA Institute where she managed the Investment Foundations Programme since 2011.
Avellemy
The UK asset management firm has named Alena Kosava as head of collectives.
She will be responsible for developing and strengthening the business’ in-house fund research capabilities.
Kosava spent the last seven years at Tilney Smith & Williamson where she was a director within the multi-asset central investment office.
