Advice consolidator names CFO, as bank makes c-suite change

One Four Nine Group

The advice consolidator and fund management firm has named Patrick Goulding as chief financial officer.

Goulding joins from Kingswood, where he most recently held the position of group chief financial officer.

ANZ

Tim Hogarth has been named as chief technology officer of the banking group.

He was previously ANZ’s chief architect.

Titan Wealth

The DFM has named Tom Wooders as group head of sales.

Prior to joining Titan Wealth, Wooders worked in State Street’s strategic solutions, where he was responsible for new business development across State Street Global Services, Global Markets and Global Exchange business lines.

Tilney Smith & Williamson

The wealth management and professional services group has hired Chris Yardley as a financial planner in its London office.

He joins from Strabens Hall, where he spent five and a half years and worked as a client director.

Goldman Lampe

The UAE-headquartered private bank has hired Muhammad Fayez as executive director for relationship management.

Fayez joined Goldman Lampe from Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where he served as director, private banker.

Natixis Investment Managers

The asset manager has appointed Darren Pilbeam as head of UK sales and Martin Herbon as head of global financial institutions.

Pilbeam will lead the combined UK wholesale and retail and UK institutional team.

Herbon will be responsible for accelerating the growth potential of Natixis’ GFI platform and working with colleagues to coordinate strategy across the globe.

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

While the search for Charles Randell’s permanent successor concludes, Richard Lloyd will act as interim chair of the UK regulator from 1 June 2022.

Lloyd is currently senior independent director of the FCA board, and is chair of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority and vice-chair of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute.

Brewin Dolphin

The wealth manager has grown its team in Edinburgh with the appointment of investment manager Dennis McGrath.

He joins the firm from 7IM, where he was a team head looking after high net worth private clients.

Pictet Wealth Management

The firm has appointed Anthony Gao as head of philanthropy services, Asia.

Prior to Pictet, Gao served as the senior philanthropy adviser of the Asia Pacific client services team of UBS Wealth Management.

HSBC Asset Management

John Dewey has been named as head of alternative solutions, HSBC alternatives.

He joins from Aviva Investors, where he was most recently deputy chief executive at Aviva Investors France.

Trium

The family office-backed alternative investment manager has appointed Bogdan Popescu as director of its European business.

Popescu joins Trium following over 6 years at J O Hambro Capital Management, where he was European sales director.

iM Global Partner

The asset management network has expanded its business development team in EMEA with the appointment of Simon Frey as director, distribution in Switzerland and the promotion of Julien Froger to managing director, distribution Emea.

Frey joins iM Global Partner from Swiss Rock Asset Management, where he was head of sales and client relations.

Carey Olsen

The law firm has named Rachel Yao as head of its trusts and private wealth offering in the Asia Pacific region.

She has joined the firm’s Singapore office, having most recently led Taylor Wessing’s private wealth team in greater China.
