Wealth manager names CEO, while asset manager hires head of Emea retail

Natixis Wealth Management

Audrey Koenig has been promoted to chief executive of Natixis Wealth Management.

She succeeds George Eric de la Bruniere, who will take on another role within the asset and wealth management business.

Koenig held several senior positions at the firm, most recently as deputy chief executive since 2019, a role which will be filled by Olivier Bouvet.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management

The asset management arm of Goldman Sachs has named Hilary Lopez as head of Emea for the retail business, effective from June 2021.

She will focus on the expansion of the business across key markets in the region as well as advance Goldman Sachs AM’s ESG offerings.

Lopez joins as a managing director from BNY Mellon Investment Management, where she served as head of intermediary distribution for Europe and Latin America.

BNY Mellon Investment Management

Sasha Evers has been promoted to head of retail distribution for Europe, based in Madrid.

In the newly created role, he will be responsible for leading the firm’s distribution strategy across the European retail segment.

Evers has been at BNY Mellon IM for over 21 years and was most recently head of Iberia and Latin America.

Ralph Elder, former director of sales for the Iberian region, will lead the company’s Iberia and Latin America business.

Aviva Investors

The investment firm has named Talvinder Mann as UK head of wealth for its wholesale division.

In the newly created role, he will be responsible for driving a “client-centric” approach across new and existing UK and global wealth relationships.

Mann will be based in London and joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where he was director of global banks.

EFG International

The global private banking group has made some changes to its senior management team.

Harald Reczek will become head of investment solutions and a member of the global business committee, effective from 1 May 2021.

He replaces Renato Cohn, who will step down at the end of April to re-join BTG Pactual.

Reczek joined EFG in 2020 as deputy head of investment solutions and global head of distribution.

Sanjin Mohorovic will take on the role of head of Latin America and also a member of the global business committee, effective from 1 July 2021.

He was previously global private banking chief operating officer at EFG in Zurich. Mohorovic succeeds Marcelo Coscarelli, who will leave the firm to pursue other opportunities.

IQ-EQ

The global investor services group has promoted Jacques Vermeulen to chief commercial officer for Guernsey.

He has been at the group since 2009.

Barclays Private Bank

The private banking business of Barclays has established its presence in France and Italy with two hires.

Bernard Corneau will become head of private bank coverage for France; while Carlo Baronio will take on a similar role for Italy, effective from 1 April 2021.

Corneau joins from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, where he served as head of France, whereas Baronio was previously at Barclays Investment Bank, where he was director in the Italian debt capital markets origination team.

Equiom

The wealth protection provider has named Jodi Lanlois as client services director, based in Guernsey.

She joins from New Street Management, where she served as a senior trust manager.

State Street

The investment firm has promoted Vincent Georgel-O’Reilly to regional segment head for alternatives in Emea.

He spent the last 14 years at the firm and will now be responsible for advancing the investment services strategic direction in Emea.

JTC

The private client services provider has named Naro Zimmerman as head of its Dubai office.

He was previously a member of JTC private client team in Guernsey.
