Natixis
Joseph Pinto has been named chief operating officer of Natixis Investment Managers and Philippe Setbon as chief executive of Natixis subsidiary Ostrum Asset Management.
Pinto and Setbon will both be members of the Natixis executive committee and the Natixis Investment Managers management committee.
Setbon will replace Matthieu Duncan, who resigned to pursue other interests.
He will take up his role at the end of November and joins from Groupama Asset management, where he was chief executive.
Pinto was previously at Axa Investment Managers, where he was chief operating officer since 2014.
Openwork
The UK financial advice network has hired Mark Knowlton as chief operating officer.
Knowlton joins Openwork from technology provider GBST, a global supplier of financial services to retail wealth management and capital banking services.
As a member of the Openwork executive team, he will have responsibility for its business operations, technology and business change.
M&G Investments
The firm has appointed Loretta Ng as head of its Asia business.
She will replace Alex Jeffrey who recently left to join Savills Investment Management.
Ng will be based in Singapore and report to Joffy Willcocks, the firm’s head of distribution for asset management.
She joins from Eastspring, where she served as chief executive of the Taiwan business since 2011.
FinoComp
The UK wealth management micro-services software business has hired David Dodds as chief operating officer.
Dodds will be responsible for running the overall operations including development, deployment and support of the firm’s software components and professional services.
He joins FinoComp from Comtech Telecommunications Corp, where he was global vice president.
Brown Shipley
The UK wealth manager has appointed Shanti Kelemen as investment director.
In this newly created role, Keleman will report to Toby Vaughan, chief investment officer at Brown Shipley.
Keleman was most recently portfolio manager and director at Coutts.
Capital Group
The investment firm has named Manuel Geiler as senior business development associate of financial intermediaries in Germany.
Based in Frankfurt, Geiler will support the German sales team to further develop and strengthen Capital Group’s client relationships with financial intermediaries in the country.
He has over 20 years of experience with financial intermediaries and retail clients in Germany having worked at Oddo BHF, Frankfurt Trust and State Street.
Raymond James
Nick Levens has joined the UK firm to offer wealth management services in Cumbria, operating under the brand of Raymond James Kendal.
He will offer discretionary investment management services.
Levens has spent the last 17 years at Sanlam Private Wealth (formally Border Asset Management).
Brooks Macdonald
The firm has hired three investment directors to its Leeds office.
Rachel Bannister joins from private office Grandwood, Rachael Marsden was previously an investment manager at Brewin Dolphin, and Richard Lindop joins from Barclays Wealth Management.
Cazenove Capital
The Schroders wealth management subsidiary has appointed Alex Neilson as a portfolio manager in the Chester office.
Neilson, who previously worked at Cazenove Capital for four years, re-joins after three years with Investec Wealth & Investment, where he was an investment manager.
In his role, Neilson will be responsible for managing the relationships with its IFA network across the north west.
Jersey Financial Services Commission
Sarah Kittleson has joined the regulator’s supervision division as director of supervisory engagement, according to local media reports.
She has worked at the JFSC since 2004 and will be responsible for the regulator’s two teams which supervise the banking and fund services business sectors, and the trust business, investment business and insurance sectors, respectively.
Kittleson will also be tasked with supporting the organisation’s strategic priorities and driving forward engagement with industry.
