Private banking group hires CEO of European platform, as wealth firm names MD of investment management

Mirabaud Group

Jeff Mouton will become chief executive of Miraboud & Cie (Europe), based in Luxembourg.

He will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s European platform.

Mouton succeeds Raphaël Spahr, who was director of wealth management since 2013. Spahr will remain within the business and head a team dedicated to wealth management development.

Mouton joins from Julius Baer, where he served as head of intermediaries in Luxembourg.

Charles Stanley

The UK wealth manager has promoted Ian Sackfield to managing director of its investment management services arm.

He joined the firm in 2020 to manage the branch network of the investment management arm.

Amundi

The European asset manager has named Amaury d’Orsay as head of fixed income investment platform, effective from 2 August 2021.

D’Orsay joins from Credit Agricole where he was global head of financial institution sales for global markets since 2018. He will take over from Eric Brard, who is retiring.

Gilles Dauphiné will be promoted to deputy head of fixed incomed investment platform.

Dauphiné started working at Amundi in 2019 as head of Euro Alpha fixed income and has since become responsible for the insurance and credit businesses within the fixed income department.

Gresham House

The specialist alternative asset manager has recruited Diane Abeyawickrama as finance director within its housing division.

She joins from Kingswood Wealth, where she was a member of the executive committee.

Brown Advisory

The investment firm has expanded its private client and charity team with a double senior hire.

Rosanna Arikoglu and Alexander Bottenheim both take on the roles of portfolio mangers.

Arikoglu was previously at Smith & Williamson, where she worked as an associate director and spent eight years looking after private clients and charities.

Bottenheim spent over 10 years at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, where he held several positions advising UK and international ultra-high net worth families and family offices.

Sarasin & Partners

The investment management business has promoted two to partner.

Hadley Simons is the chief operating officer for the client affairs division within the firm, and has been at Sarasin & Partners since 2017.

Alex Cobbold is a global thematic equity analyst and head of research and ESG integration. He has also been at the company since 2017.

BondIT

The asset and wealth management tech provider has hired David Curtis as partner and head of global client business.

He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he spent 16 years leading its UK institutional business.

BDO

Nadine Bogard has re-joined the financial services firm as a senior manager within its private client services unit.

She specialises in UK trusts, succession and tax advice.

Bogard spent one year as a personal tax senior at BDO in 2007 before joining RSM UK for eight years, after which she moved to Smith & Williamson for another four as a senior manager.

Brewin Dolphin

The wealth firm’s Irish business has named Greg Dilger as an independent non-executive director.

Most recently, he served as an adviser to AIB Bank.

Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC)

The Jersey regulator has promoted Kerry Petulla to director of enforcement.

She has been at the JFSC for 15 years and has served as acting director of enforcement for the last year.
