Ruper Thompson will take on the role of managing director and chief investment officer; Leigh Philpot will become head of wealth and David Winckler has been promoted to associate director.
Additionally, Paul Surguy will join the firm in January 2020 to lead the investment management team.
Most recently, he was at Kleinwort Hambros, where he ran the discretionary investment management business for UK affluent clients.

The co-founder of the investment management company is going to retire.
From January 2020, Justin Urquhart Stewart will move to an ambassadorial role as he steps down from his full-time position with 7IM.
He will keep representing the firm and will become an adviser to the business.
Urquhart Stewart is one of the original co-founders who set up 7IM in 2002.
HSBC Private Bank
Gavin Rankin has been named regional head of investment services & product solutions, Emea at the private banking arm of HSBC.
He will be based in London and be responsible for the investment business within the region and for developing the arm’s services and offerings.
Rankin joins from Citi Private Bank where he served as head of managed investments, Emea for nearly seven years.
Asquire Wealth Management
John Loudon has taken on a directorship role at financial advisory firm Asquire Wealth Management.
He previously served as chief executive at Quilter Cheviot for two years before retiring in June 2017.
EdenTree Investment Management
The responsible and sustainable investment firm has promoted Adrian Judge to head of wholesale and retail distribution.
He joined the company’s retail sales team in 2011.
Judge will oversee the delivery of responsible and sustainable investment solutions to UK financial advisers, wealth managers, fund of funds, platforms, banks and rating agencies.

The wealth management business of Rothschild & Co has appointed Sophie Kilvert as a director and client adviser.
She joins from 7IM where she was a private client manager from 2004.

Lombard International Assurance’s director of wealth structuring solutions Simon Gorbutt has joined Step Benelux as chair.
He has been involved with the global professional association for family inheritance and succession planning practitioners for the past three and a half years in Luxembourg.
