Jupiter Fund Management
Global head of distribution Phil Wagstaff will take a step back from full time roles within the industry by the end of 2022.
He joined Jupiter in 2019 and has over 36 years’ experience working in senior roles in the asset management sector.
Warren Tonkinson, previously managing director of distribution, will succeed Wagstaff and will be promoted to deputy global head of distribution.
He started working at Jupiter in 2020 after he left Merian, where he served as distribution director since 2012.
Invesco
The investment firm has expanded its multi-asset team with two senior hires in the UK.
Benjamin Jones will take on the role of director of macro research, while Fabio Faltoni will become product director.
Jones was previously at State Street Global Markets, where he spent 15 years, most recently as a senior multi-asset strategist.
Faltoni spent the last five years as a multi-asset and macro investment specialist at Aviva Investors.
Allianz Bank Financial Advisors
The Italian financial advice arm of Allianz has promoted Matteo Galeotti to head of wealth and corporate advisory.
He spent more than two decades at Allianz Bank’s wealth division where, most recently, he was a senior partner and wealth adviser.
Galeotti will focus on developing a service model to cater for entrepreneur clients and their businesses, specifically on family and business estate and succession planning.
South African Revenue Service
The South African taxman has hired Natasha Singh to lead its wealthy taxpayers’ unit.
She joins from public electricity provider Eskom, where she was finance executive for group insurance and tax.
Amundi
The French asset manager recruited Nicolò Foscari as head of multi-asset insurance risk and solutions, outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) solutions, based in Milan.
He will develop OCIO solutions for insurance and family office clients outside the group.
Foscari was previously at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in New York, where he worked since 2016 as senior investment officer – outsourced OCIO.
Copia Capital Management
Simon Eakin has joined the investment management firm as a sales manager.
He was previously a regional sales manager at Novia Financial, where he worked since March 2020.
Melbourne Capital Group
The Australian wealth management firm has named Mark Owens as head of private wealth.
He joins from Utmost Worldwide, where he worked as a senior manager in the technical division for the Singapore and Asean region.
Value Partners
The Hong Kong-based independent asset manager has appointed June Wong as president.
She will be based in the special administrative region and be responsible for managing the group’s overall business, corporate strategy and operations.
Wong will also become a member of the firm’s leadership committee.
Most recently, she was chief executive of Asia ex-Japan at State Street Global Advisors.
Charles Russell Speechlys (CRS)
David Collins has been named as divisional managing partner at the law firm.
He will look after the business advisory and transaction services side of the business which includes corporate, commercial, employment, immigration, pensions, financial services and banking teams.
Collins joins from Dentons, where he was head of the UK corporate department and co-chair of the firm’s global M&A group.
