The Swiss wealth management firm has promoted Mark Winterburn to head of investment advisory UK.

He joined the company in 2017 as a senior investment adviser and executive director from Coutts, where he served as a director and investment adviser.

Winterburn will be based in London and continue advising clients.

Arlo Wealth

Graham Thornton has joined Dubai-based asset management and financial advisory business Arlo Wealth as private wealth director.

He was previously a partner at Abacus Financial Consultants, which he co-founded over six years ago.

Intelliflo

Following Hamish Purdey’s resignation from the advisory software provider, where he served as chief executive for five years, he has now taken on the top job at fund data and technology provider FE Fundinfo.

Additionally, the digital firm recruited David Blumer as chairman. He most recently worked as global head of Blackrock Alternative Investors.

Montfort International

Montfort’s head of financial planning Eugen Neagu left the financial advisory firm at the end of last year to set up his own business.

He has become a director of newly formed wealth firm N2 Asset Management, along with two others.

The Surrey-based company received approval from the Financial Conduct Authority in December 2019.

BennBridge

The provider of investment solutions to financial advisers has named Dough Stewart chief executive.

He joins BennBridge from OppenheimerFunds, part of Invesco, where he served as chief executive and led the firm’s European business since 2016.

Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)

The Maltese financial regulator has made several hires from the UK.

David Eacott has been appointed head of banking, joining from the Bank of England.

He was at ‘the old lady of Threadneedle Street’ for over 22 years, holding several senior roles, most recently director of priorities and resources.

Anthony Eddington will take on the role of head of financial crime compliance. He was previously regional head of AFC advisory for UK markets at Deutsche Bank.

Emily Benson will become head of conduct. She takes over from Michelle Buontempo who has been promoted to chief enforcement officer.

Benson is currently a consultant solicitor at Keystone Law and, before that, she worked as head of financial services regulation at law firm TLT.
