The wealth manager has appointed Craig McGuire as an investment director in its Jersey office.
McGuire has 25 years’ wealth management experience. Most recently he spent nine years as a director at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, also based in Jersey. He worked on the advisory and execution only desk whilst also contributing to the discretionary service.
Prior to that McGuire was a discretionary wealth manager at HSBC Global Asset Management and a senior investment manager at Standard Bank.
The firm has also appointed Brian Weber as head of business development for its Dublin based European business.
Weber has 35 years of industry experience. He began his career working for private client stockbroking firm Goodbody followed by several years at Davy. In 2003 he set up the Irish office of Quilter Cheviot where he spent two decades, initially as head of office and latterly as chief executive of Quilter Cheviot Europe up until last year.

Franklin Templeton
The asset manager has realigned its distribution leadership, combining its Americas (ex-US), European and UK businesses, while UK head Martyn Gilbey is set to exit the firm later this year.
The new enlarged division will be led by Matt Harrison head of Americas (ex-US), Europe & UK, global advisory services. He will continue to report to Adam Spector, EVP, Global Advisory Services.
The combined region represents $245bn (£193bn) in assets under management.
Meanwhile, current UK head Gilbey will exit in October after seven years at the firm.
AllianceBernstein
The firm has appointed Souheir Asba as an investment-grade credit portfolio manager, to oversee the firm’s Euro Investment Grade and Global Investment Grade credit strategies.
Based in London, Asba has joined the firm from BlackRock, where she was a portfolio manager in the firm’s global investment-grade credit team.
Prior to working at BlackRock, where she spent five and-a-half years managing institutional and retail mandates, Asba spent four years as vice president and European credit strategist at Merrill Lynch, and two years as an economist and strategist at Société Générale.
CG Asset Management
The firm has appointed Sophia Sednaoui and Katie Forbes to its investor relations team, with Sednaoui joining as head of investor relations and Forbes as head of investor relations for the Capital Gearing trust.
Sednaoui, who will begin in August, has spent six years at Carmignac, where she was business development director. In 2020, she co-founded investor network Virtuvest, which she will continue to work on while at CG.
Forbes began her role in May after her previous role of senior investor relations associate at JPMorgan Chase where she spent nearly five years. Previously, she was an analyst at Goldman Sachs.
