PEOPLE MOVES: DeVere, FE Fundinfo, Sionic

Advice giant names chief diversity officer, as data and tech provider expands European headcount

DeVere

International financial advice giant DeVere Group named Beverley Yeomans as its first chief diversity officer.

She is based in Malta and will take on the role on top of her current chief operating officer position, effective immediately.

FE Fundinfo

Global fund data and technology provider FE Fundinfo has expanded its operations across Europe with several hires.

Peter Panse joins as an account director from Six where he was senior product manager. He is based in Frankfurt.

Jutta Heibel and Brigitte Behrens join the firm’s team in Germany as data relationship managers in Frankfurt and Berlin, respectively.

Philippe Cordier will become part of the company’s Paris office as head of sales for France. He has previously held a similar role at ODDO BHF and Natixis.

Hugo Neto will cover the Benelux territories as head of sales for the region and will be based in Luxembourg. He has been in senior sales roles at Accenture and Six.

Fabian d’Herbais de Thun joins Neto in Luxembourg as a key account manager. He was also at Six where he served as a senior account and client project manager.

In Switzerland, Stefan Paulus will become key account manager in FE’s Zurich office and be responsible for the Swiss and Liechtenstein operations.

Lastly, Erina Braiotta and Emanuele Padovani join as data relationship managers in Milan, from American Express and BNY Mellon, respectively.

Sionic

Financial services consulting firm Sionic has expanded its wealth management and private banking practice with two directors, one in London and one in Geneva.

Anja de Troyer joins the Geneva office, while Niall Buggy has taken on the role in London.

De Troyer was previously a client solutions and product manager at InvestCloud/Finantix; while Buggy held senior roles at Brooks Macdonald.

Phoenix Group

Phoenix Group has strengthened its bulk purchase annuities team with five hires.

Mark Fenlon joined to lead the annuity client services team; Matt Richards and Rhian Littlewood have become senior business development managers; while Jack Hill and Charlotte Fletcher have been named ad as senior pricing manager and business development actuary, respectively.

Fenlon was previously at Aviva, leading BPA and reinsurance operations; Richards spent the last 10 years at Pension Insurance Corporation in the origination team; while Hill joined from Mercer where he was a principal in the risk transfer team.

Pacific Asset Management

Julia Varesko has become a senior analyst at Pacific AM, based in London.

She will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative company analysis, developing customised stock models and making stock recommendations.

Varesko joined from JP Morgan where she held a similar role covering diversified financials.

GSB Capital

The global wealth firm hired Katie Sanglay as new business manager, based in Dubai.

She was a sales support representative at Old Mutual International for over three years in the UAE.

Gresham House

The specialist alternative asset manager recruited Ana Janine to join its sustainable infrastructure team.

She was previously a consultant at Boston Consulting Group where she worked on private equity deals.

Pimfa

The trade body for the financial advice and investment industry appointed Tilney Smith & Williamson’s partner and head of performance Alison Moynihan as chair of its private investors indices committee.

She served on the committee for the past 10 years and will replace Mark Bulsing, head of investment risk at Investec, who is standing down from the role after a two-year tenure.
