Clifton Group
SIPP specialist Morgan Lloyd, part of the Clifton Group, has appointed Julie Hansen as its new managing director.
Hansen has over 20 years of experience working across financial services including pension administration, financial planning and insurance. She is currently Chair of Health Shield Friendly Society, although completes her term in that role later this year.
She previously held the role of managing director for PX Pension Exchange and PX Wealth, as well as a number of Directors’ positions with other firms. At Morgan Lloyd, she is responsible for delivery of the firm’s strategic ambition and day-to-day operational efficiency.
Artemis
Head of global equities Alex Stanić has exited the firm to join Australia’s largest superannuation fund.
Stanić was also lead manager of the firm’s Global Select and Global Focus strategies. He also previously held senior portfolio management roles at JPMorgan Asset Management, River & Mercantile Asset Management and Newton Investment Management.
He will join AustralianSuper in the firm’s London office in May as head of core equity within international equities.
Fladgate LLP
The firm has appointed Emily Osborne as a partner in its private client team, effective 1 May 2025.
She joins with over 20 years of experience and has expertise in international tax and private wealth advisory, providing strategic counsel to high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices as well as trustees on complex international taxation matters.
Osborne’s track record includes the establishment of wealth preservation structures, including offshore trusts, foundations, and companies; advising on UK residency and domicile issues; structuring the acquisition and ownership of UK residential property; and navigating global beneficial ownership disclosure regimes. She also advises on international pension schemes and other remuneration structures, acting for both scheme trustees and their members.
Abderdeen Investments
Emerging market debt veteran Brett Diment is retiring from the group at the end of the year.
Diment has held the role of head of global emerging market debt for almost 20 years, building the firm’s EMD solutions to $20bn in AUM. He has more than three decades in investment, primarily focusing on EM debt.
Siddharth Dahiya becomes global head of emerging market debt, reporting to global fixed income head Jonathan Mondillo. Dahiya has been instrumental in building Aberdeen’s emerging market corporate debt team and manages a wide range of EM corporate and blended debt portfolios.
He joined Aberdeen in 2010 and has a total of 18 years’ experience in the industry.
