CFA UK
The organisation has appointed Nick Bartlett as chief executive from April 2025. He will succeed Will Goodhart, who will step down as chief executive in March after 18 years in the role.
Bartlett will join CFA UK from CFA Institute, where he is currently senior head of learning content and innovation. He joined CFA Institute in 2018 having spent the previous six years as director of education at CFA UK.
Commenting on his appointment, Bartlett added: “I am thrilled to become the next chief executive of CFA UK. The society has a deep history and has made significant strides in recent years to develop professional learning and investment qualifications that meet the needs of the profession.”
AllianceBernstein
The firm has appointed Adam Peters as the firm’s head of UK retail distribution.

He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management after 12 years, where he was most recently head of UK wealth distribution.
In the new role, Peters will focus on developing relationships with UK wealth managers and advisers.
Rathbone Asset Management
Sarah Odds has been appointed as director of strategic projects, where she will head up the firm’s commercial schemes.
The group’s chief executive Tom Carroll said Odds would be “an instrumental part of shaping and delivering [Rathbone’s] growth strategy, focusing on diversifying and expanding our fund range”.
Odds joins following a two-year stint as head of client services at Atlas Infrastructure Partners.
Artemis
Former Allianz Global Investors head of UK wholesale Matthew Couzens has joined Artemis as sales director for London.
He spent nine years at Allianz and has previously held sales roles at Canada Life Investments and Russell Investments.
Artemis has also appointed Joe Wallace and Freddie Morrissey as sales support executives, who join from Janus Henderson and Muzinich, respectively. All three will be based in Artemis’s London office.
KBI Global Investors
Geoff Blake will be promoted to chief executive officer following the retirement of Sean Hawkshaw in March, who led the firm since 2016.
Blake has been deputy CEO under Hawkshaw since February last year, but has worked at KBI Global Investors for over 30 years, first joining the group in 1994.
He also acted as the firm’s global head of business development and client services since 2006, which included him building out KBI Global Investor’s North American business between 2007 to 2014.
Stonehage Fleming
The firm has chosen Stuart Parkinson as its group CEO, who joins from Lombard Odier International Group.
Parkinson has been with Lombard International Group since April 2020 as group CEO, and previously spent near three decades with HSBC.
He joined as an international manager in 1993 and worked his way to global chief investment officer by 2014, with roles across the globe including Hong Kong, Thailand, Dubai, Mexico City, Taiwan and New York.
Ninety One
Justin Jewell has taken a role as global investment manager at Ninety One after leaving RBC BlueBay last August.
Jewell spent 15 years with RBC BlueBay, where he began as head of high yield trading before becoming a portfolio manager and later a partner of the firm. His career included oversight of a team of 30 and $18bn (£14.7bn) in assets across high yield, leveraged loan, CLOs and multi asset credit.
