Ex-Schroders man lands at investment firm, while UAE company names CEO

Capital Group 

James Cardew has taken on the role of head of marketing and client experience for Europe and Asia. 

He will be based in London. 

Most recently, Cardew was chief marketing officer at Schroders Personal Wealth, and prior to that he worked as global head of marketing at Schroders for 12 years. 

Investbridge Capital 

Dubai-based asset management firm Investbridge Capital promoted Oliver Hogg to chief executive, after serving as managing director for over five years. 

Marc Hambach will take on the role of managing partner, as well as continuing to serving as chief operating officer. 

Additionally, following the opening of an office in London and receiving regulatory approval, Karolina Dvorak has been promoted to head of investor relations and she will lead the London office. 

GAM 

Rob Bailey will become Gam’s head of UK wholesale distribution, effective from 12 October. 

He will be responsible for driving the UK wholesale strategy and the distribution proposition for financial advisers in the country. 

Bailey will join from Axa Investment Managers where he has worked for 13 years in a similar role. 

Royal London 

Mutual insurer Royal London has named Mark Rennison as a non-executive director. 

He will also be a member of the risk and capital committee, the audit committee and the nominations and governance committee. 

Previously, Rennison was chief financial officer and a member of the board at UK bank Nationwide. 

Mirabaud Asset Management  

The investment division of the Mirabaud Group has made two senior hire within its investment teams. 

John Kisenyi joins the global equity team as an ESG analyst. Most recently, he was at Wellers Impact where he served as an impact investment consultant. 

Additionally, Robin Jenner will become part of the fixed income team as a corporate credit analyst, after spending 12 years at Metlife Investments. 

Maitland 

Fiduciary and administration services provider Maitland has expanded its senior management. 

Neil Montgomery has been promoted to senior manager for corporate services compliance, after working as global tax reporting manager at the firm. 

Alun Jonas will take on the role of head of finance for corporate and Manco services, after holding the position of financial director at Imperial Cargo.
