PEOPLE MOVES: Brewin Dolphin, XPS Pensions, Citi

Wealth manager hires head of international distribution, while pension firm makes c-suite change

Brewin Dolphin

Ian Kloss has joined the wealth manager as head of nationals, networks and international distribution.

The former chief executive of Quilter International Singapore will be based in the UK and be responsible for enhancing existing relationship with financial advisers as well as expanding the firm’s intermediary proposition internationally with a focus on Jersey and Ireland.

He was at the helm of Quilter International Singapore between 2017 and 2021.

XPS Pensions Group

The pension consultancy has named Jon Marchant as chief information officer and partner.

He spent the last 10 years in a similar position for payments and retail services specialist Paypoint.

Additionally, the firm has promoted six people to partner.

They are: Helen Ross, head of member options; Julie Moores, deputy head of compliance; Jordan Harrison, head of investment (Birmingham); Matthew Plail, head of member analytics; Mel Collins, regional operations manager; and Vicky Mullins, head of GMP equalisation.

Citi Private Bank Singapore

Lee Lung Nien will become head of the private bank in aouth Asia and will retain its duties as chairman.

He was chief executive of Citi Malaysia between 2014 and 2020.

Charles Stanley

The wealth management firm has hired Lee Ramsden as investment director in its Manchester office.

Ramsden joins from Brown Shipley, where he served as a director.

Harneys Fiduciary Cyprus

Theodoros Assiotis and Theodoros Zafiropoulos have been promoted to directors at the fiduciary firm in Cyprus.

They will co-head the company’s offering on the island.

Assiotis is head of the fiduciary accounting services team, while Zafiropoulosis is a partner in the banking and finance team in Cyprus.

ICapital

The global financial technology platform has made two senior hires.

Edwin Chan will take on the role of head of client solutions, Asia, while Manuel Faccio will have a similar position for Europe.

Chan was a senior adviser to Shanghai-based private equity firm Ocean Link, while Faccio joins from DWS Group where he most recently was head of coverage for Switzerland and southern Europe.

Alderwood Capital

The London-based fund management company has expanded its senior management team.

Rick Potter and Jeremy Bassil have been named partners and senior advisers.

Potter will also chair the investment committee.

They both join from Northill Capital, a firm they co-founded alongside Alderwood managing partner Jon Little.
