BNP Paribas Asset Management
The asset management business of the French firm has hired Rob Gambi as global head of investments.
He will be responsible for the management and performance of all investment teams across different asset classes and locations.
Gambi’s role will be based in London and he will also join the BNPP AM’s executive committee. He joins from Henderson Global Investors where he was the chief investment officer.
Jupiter AM
Phil Wagstaff has been named Jupiter’s global head of distribution and member of the executive committee.
Wagstaff joins the London-based asset management firm following news of the departure of the current global head of distribution, Nick Ring, who is set to leave after four years to pursue other executive opportunities.
Wagstaff will join the company on 5 June 2019 after he serving previously as global head of distribution at Janus Henderson.
Amundi
Richard Deutsch has joined Amundi as head of credit research, fixed income.
He joins from HSBC Global Asset Management where he was global head of credit research between 2010 and 2018.
His role will be based in London.
Aviva Investors
The global asset management business of Aviva has appointed Stephanie Niven as manager of the Global Equity Endurance Fund.
She joined the company in October 2018 as a portfolio manager in the global equities team, joining from Tesco Pension Investment where she was for six years.
Tilney
The UK-based wealth management group has hires Nadia Atanasov as an associate financial planner in Scotland.
She joins from Chiene & Tait Financial Planning where she served as a paraplanner for two years.
She will be based in Edinburgh and will be paired with a financial adviser, as part of Tilney’s “two-expert” approach.
Kames Capital
Thomas Hanson has been named the head of high yield fixed income of the UK investment management business.
He was previously a high yield portfolio manager at Janus Henderson managing its Euro High Yield and Global High Yield funds.
Following his appointment, he will also become co-manager of the Kames High Yield Bond, Kames High Yield Global Bond and Kames Short Dated High Yield Bond funds, alongside Mark Benbow.
Additionally, Eleanor Price joins the firm as high yield analyst.
