Allianz
The financial services giant has named Anusha Thavarajah will be appointed as regional chief executive of Allianz Asia Pacific, succeeding Solmaz Altin, who has decided to leave the organisation after 13 years with the company.
Thavarajah is currently Allianz Asia Pacific’s regional chief executive of life and health, having joined the business in December 2019 from AIA Malaysia.

The IFA firm has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Henry Blunt as acquisitions director.
Blunt joins Wren Sterling after eight years at Retiring IFA, where he was managing director for the past six years, helping IFAs to sell their businesses to acquiring companies.

Margaret Fung has joined the firm as managing director in Hong Kong.
She was previously head of Hong Kong market and board member at the TMF Group.

The global asset manager has named Melanie Robinson as global head of customer experience and Gad Amar as international chief product officer.
Robinson previously worked at Medallia as head of professional services for southern Europe.
Amar joins from Edmond de Rothschild, where he was deputy chief executive, global head of business development in Paris.

The UK private bank has named Amy Rodwell as partner.
She will be the first member of the twelfth generation of the Hoare family to join the partnership and the 50th partner in the bank’s history.
Rodwell joined C Hoare & Co in November 2015.

The asset manager has appointed Colin Graham as head of multi-asset strategies and co-head of sustainable multi-asset solutions.
Graham was chief investment officer, multi-asset solutions at Eastspring Investments.

Adam West and Clare Halligan have joined its Birmingham tax team as a partner and director, respectively.
West joins Tilney Smith & Williamson from RSM, where he was private client tax director.
Halligan joins Tilney Smith & Williamson from Grant Thornton with 10 years tax dispute and resolution experience across the London and Birmingham markets.

He was previously operations and marketing director at Guernsey Finance.
