Liljeberg, who is moving on after 14 years in Ireland and in the cross border life business, will be returning to Sweden to take up a new post as deputy head of SEB Life & Pension.

Liljeberg is also expected to step down from his position as chairman of the Association of International Life Offices (AILO) later this year after completing a two-year stint as head of the trade organisation.

Nateus, formerly the head of business development & IT at SEB Life & Pension, will take up the new position from 1 July.

In response to his appointment, Peder Nateus stated “I look forward to, together with my colleagues in Ireland, taking on the challenge of running and developing further our Irish operations”.

“I am confident that our Irish operations will continue to thrive with Peder at the helm,” said Peter Dahlgren, head of the Life division in SEB.
