In his new role as investment specialist, Miller aims to enhance Old Mutual Wealth’s investment products – including the WealthSelect fund range – through workshops, events, seminars and visits.

The investment firm said Miller’s appointment to its specialist sales team emphasises its commitment to helping advisers grow their business by increasing their investment expertise and making them more efficient, while also demonstrating the value of their services to clients.

“Financial advisers are experiencing scrutiny of their profession like never before and we are committed to helping them do business in the most efficient and effective way they can,” said head of specialist sales, Tony Harris, in a statement.

“Our continued expansion of the team at this crucial time and our single-minded focus on helping advisers make the best decisions for the benefit of their clients will, I hope, ensure that we all succeed together.”

Miller will work closely with financial advisers through advisory network, Intrinsic, which is owned by Old Mutual.

It was announced in April that Intrinsic would become “network partner” to advisory networking giant Sesame.

Old Mutual Wealth is part of Old Mutual which provides life assurance, asset management, banking and general insurance.

In March, Architas launched a global multi-asset fund to answer investor demand for income ahead of the UK pension reforms.
