Former Atomos distribution head and Thesis Asset Management director Lawrence Cook has launched Mabel Insights.
The company offers information and analysis on the MPS market, based on data drawn from 80 discretionary fund managers.
The data set features details from over 1,000 MPS portfolios and multi-asset funds. All portfolios are risk rated by Mabel.
According to the firm, this means advisers can analyse the MPS market using the same risk language for the first time. The information can be used for due diligence, CIP research and client specific reports.

The firm plans to make enhancements to the service over the coming year. Advisers can register an account for free at mabelinsights.com.
Cook, Mabel Insights CEO, said: “It was time advisers had wide ranging access to MPS information from across the market and we are pleased to be able to offer this service.”

“To date access to information for advisers has been piecemeal and research tells us that the adoption of MPS by advisers is increasing across the UK.
“We felt the time was right to provide a service which really delivers what advisers need and our early adopters in trials have given us great feedback which tells us we are delivering exactly that.”
